Early Learning Program (ELP)

The Early Learning Program (ELP) helps prepare young children for school by developing five age-appropriate school readiness skills:  physical, emotional, social, language and cognitive development.   The program is open for ten months during the year - September to June.

ELP is open to Lambton children between 31 months to four years of age who are not eligible for junior or senior kindergarten.    Participation in ELP is free, space permitting.  Eligible children can attend up to 12.5 hours per week. 

Parents who want additional time at the child care centre, can pay based on the child care operator's rate.  Financial help may be available.

1. Speak to a child care centre representative from a location noted above.
2. Complete the PDF registration form below.
3. Follow the directions outlined on page two of the form to submit the form.
