Sarnia, ON – To mark the tenth year of its genre fiction writing and reading convention, GenreCon, the Sarnia Library is presenting a FREE movie, "The Third Man" on Monday, April 30 at 7 p.m. in the Sarnia Library Theatre.
"The Third Man" is a mystery whose main character Holly Martins, played by Joseph Cotten, is a pulp fiction author who is investigating the death of his friend Harry Lyme, played by Orson Wells, in Cold War Vienna, Austria just after World War Two. Using expressionistic techniques "The Third Man" won the 1949 Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival and an Oscar for Cinematography.
