Sarnia, ON - Due dates for resources borrowed from the Sarnia Library, Sarnia Children's Library and the Bookmobile are being extended by ten days in light of the indefinite closure of the downtown facility.
Sarnia Library was closed until further notice Thursday afternoon following a minor fire in the mechanical system in the basement of the facility.
For materials with due dates of July 13, 2017 or later, the return date will be extended until Monday, July 24, 2017. No additional fines will accrue during this period; however, materials can be returned to any library in Lambton County.
Materials can also be renewed or borrowed by using online platforms available on the Library's website, LCLibrary.ca or by calling or visiting any other Lambton County Library branch, including the following branches in the Sarnia area:
Bright's Grove (519-869-2351) - Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday - Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Corunna (519-862-1132) - Monday - Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Friday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Mallroad (519-542-2580) - Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturdays 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Point Edward (519-336-3291) - Monday and Wednesday 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Friday 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
