Road Closure Graphic The following temporary closures and detours on County Roads are required due to seasonal construction. Motorists are advised to follow the appropriate detour routes around areas. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated.

Although this list is intended to be comprehensive, unavoidable emergency closures and minor closures are not listed.  Be sure to check back for updates.


County Road 4 (Petrolia Line) (within the Town of Petrolia) between Fletcher Street and Kerby Street. Work expected to be completed in November 2016. Detour route posted.

County Road 22 (London Line) will be reduced to a single lane in each direction in the vicinity of the Telfer Creek Bridge which lies between Blackwell Sideroad and County Road 23 (Airport Road) to allow for the rehabilitation of the Telfer Creek Bridge.  The bridge is located approximately 195 metres east of Blackwell Road. Work is expected to last 12-14 weeks, weather permitting. (commencing Monday July 11, 2016)

County Road 18 (Bog Line) will be closed to traffic from County Road 79 (Northville Road) east to Gordon to allow for the replacement of the Nesbit Drain Bridge. Local traffic will be permitted up to the construction zone along Bog Line from the east and west but no through traffic will be permitted. Detour route posted. (commencing Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 7:00 a.m. and lasting for three (3) weeks, weather permitting).

County Road 2 (Bentpath Line) will be completely closed from Shetland Road to Inwood Road for the rehabilitation of the Shetland Bridge. Local traffic will be permitted up to the construction zone along Bentpath Line for the east and west but no through traffic will be permitted. Detour route posted. (commencing Thursday July 28, 2016 and lasting for a period of 2-3 weeks, weather permitting.
