Information Technology

The Information Technology Department (IT) supports the strategic direction and operational needs of the County.

The department provides centralized corporate Information Technology services to all County departments and staff, provides guidance and resources concerning IT matters to County Council, General Managers, local municipalities and other community-based organizations.

Additionally, IT acts as a centralized liaison between related IT vendors and departmental staff. Ensuring appropriate IT policies and resources are allocated for County IT projects, and identifying emerging technologies that may assist in the County's operations, are additional responsibilities of the Department.
