Sarnia, ON – A FREE child car seat workshop will be held Monday, August 9 at 10 a.m. at the Lambton College Ontario Early Years Centre, 1457 London Rd., Sarnia.
The workshop includes a brief presentation and demonstration followed by a car seat inspection. To be eligible for a car seat inspection, parents and caregivers must attend the workshop. Registration is required.
"The workshop will teach parents and caregivers to install their child’s car seat properly," says Kelley Elliott, Health Promoter with the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department. “Parents and caregivers, who attend a car seat workshop, are more confident and more competent when installing their child’s car seat."
The event is sponsored by Community Health Services, Lambton OPP, North Lambton Community Health Centre, Sarnia Police Services, Sarnia Fire and Rescue Services, Ontario Early Years Centre, and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
