Lambton County, ON – Lambton County is offering a rare chance to explore some of the area’s most fascinating and historically significant sites during Doors Open on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. In celebration of Lambton County’s 175th Anniversary, this event offers free, exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to historic sites and cultural institutions across all 11 municipalities in the County.
“We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to discover the incredible history that’s all around us," says Jessica Stevenson, Marketing & Events Coordinator, Lambton County Museums and Archives. “Lambton County has such a rich heritage, and Doors Open allows people to connect with the stories that have shaped our community over the past 175 years.”
This year’s event sees 33 participating locations. From historic homes to industrial heritage sites, Doors Open Lambton County gives visitors an insider’s look at the places and stories that shaped the region.
