Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is inviting youth aged 9-13 to take part in the upcoming TNT Summer Splash Workshops. TNT stands for Try New Things and in these workshops, participants will develop their creative skills, make new friends, and explore their community. This free program, led by local artists, is filled with a variety of exciting new experiences that allow youth to discover new passions.

Workshops include:

Zine Machine with Lauren Davidson

Artist Lauren Davidson will inspire participants to create a self-published booklet featuring something they are passionate about. The group will learn about the history of zines and experiment with techniques and materials.

Fiber Selfies with Patricia Cook
Wednesday, August 3, 9:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Artist Patricia Cook will guide participants through the art of wool felting to create a fiber art selfie. They will learn the dry felting technique and experiment with fiber blending.

Part of the Big Picture with Daisy Fresh
Thursday, August 4, 9:00 – 4:00 p.m.
