Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a bite incident that occurred around 6:45 p.m. on July 14, 2025, outside of Star Variety near the corner of Confederation St. and Lansdowne Ave. in Sarnia.
The dog is described as large, brown in colour, resembling a boxer, and was accompanied by a male owner that appeared to be around 40 years old and is described as a short with an average build, and who was wearing a hat at the time of the incident.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
