Watford, ON – Lambton Works Centre is hosting the first-ever Work Local. Live Better. Career & Business Expo at the East Lambton Community Complex (61 Centennial Avenue, Watford) on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This free event is open to the public and offers an opportunity for residents to connect with local businesses, discover employment opportunities, and explore community services - all in their own backyard.
“We’re proud to host this welcoming, local event where everyone in the community can come together, build skills, learn more about businesses and services available in our community, and access supports that help people live better,” says Lisa Jacaruso, Program Supervisor. “It’s all about highlighting, strengthening, and connecting our rural communities.”
The event will feature a diverse lineup of local employers and service providers offering information, resources, and on-the-spot networking opportunities. Whether you're seeking your next job, interested in training, or simply looking to build connections and learn more about businesses and services in our community, there will be something for everyone at the Work Local. Live Better. event.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Arrive early - the first 50 attendees will receive a free hot dog.
Exhibitor spaces are also free but are limited - local businesses and organizations are encouraged to book their spot as soon as possible. If you are interested in booking a free exhibitor space, please call 519-344-2062 ext. 2019 or email lambtonworks@county-lambton.on.ca.
