Oil Springs, ON - The Oil Museum of Canada is set to offer an invaluable opportunity for job seekers on Thursday, March 20, hosting a free employment skills session designed to help individuals enhance their interview techniques and job search strategies.

Participants will benefit from professional guidance courtesy of the Lambton Works Centre, learning key strategies to distinguish themselves in competitive job markets. The session aims to build confidence and provide actionable skills for successful job interviews.

"In today's dynamic job market, having strong interview skills can make all the difference," said Lisa Jacaruso, Program Supervisor, Lambton Works Centre. "We're thrilled to partner with the Oil Museum to provide job seekers with the tools and confidence they need to stand out to potential employers. Our goal is not just to help individuals find a job, but to launch a successful career."

The workshop, scheduled from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., will provide participants with expert insights into improving their employability and is designed for young job seekers and those re-entering the workforce. Door prizes will also be available for participants.

"We're excited to offer this free opportunity for our community members to invest in their professional development," said Erin Dee-Richard, Curator/Supervisor, Oil Museum of Canada. "Our goal is to provide accessible resources that can make a real difference in people's career journeys."

Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Interested individuals are encouraged to register through the Oil Museum’s online event calendar to secure their spot.
