Lakeshore Road to be Closed for Reconstruction

Wyoming, ON - Lakeshore Road (County Road #7) between Modeland Road and Telfer Road in the City of Sarnia is scheduled for full closure beginning Wednesday, April 21, 2021 (weather permitting). The work is expected to last approximately four months, weather permitting.

Detours will be in place using Modeland Road, Blackwell Road and Telfer Road to access Lakeshore Road east and west.

Lakeshore Road to be Reconstructed

Wyoming, ON - Lakeshore Road (County Road #7) between Modeland Road and Blackwell Sideroad in the City of Sarnia is scheduled for full closure beginning June 8, 2020. The work is expected to last approximately sixteen weeks, weather permitting.

Detours will be in place using Modeland Road, Blackwell Road and Telfer Road to access Lakeshore Road east and west.

The project, awarded to Birnam Excavating Limited, also includes a new watermain for the City of Sarnia along Lakeshore Road.

Lane closures and reductions on Michigan Avenue

Wyoming, ON - Lane closures and reductions will be taking place on Friday, August 16, 2019 on Michigan Avenue (County Road 19) from Christina Street to Front Street in Point Edward.

The closures and reductions will be taking place between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and will include the intersections at Michigan Avenue and Christina Street and Michigan Avenue and Front Street. These closures are necessary to complete milling, paving and pavement marking operations.

Traffic delays expected Friday at Lakeshore and Murphy intersection

Wyoming, ON - Motorists are being advised to avoid the County Road #7 (Lakeshore Road) - Murphy Road intersection in the City of Sarnia this Friday (November 16).

Significant traffic delays are anticipated as the intersection is scheduled for intermittent closures to accommodate the conclusion of paving work on Lakeshore Road.

The project also includes the paving of Lakeshore Road east of the intersection with Murphy Road to Mater Drive and is expected to conclude next week (weather permitting).
