2021 Draft County Budget Presented to County Council

Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Council will be considering a net increase of 1.75% to the County property tax levy when it meets to discuss the County's 2021 budget early next month. This is the lowest County levy increase presented to Council in the last seven years.

Cold Weather Alert #2 Issued for Lambton County

Point Edward, ON - Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a COLD WEATHER ALERT for Lambton County based on the latest forecast from Environment Canada predicting the temperature to meet the threshold of -15°C overnight Tuesday.
The alert is expected to remain in effect until Wednesday, February 17, 2021. The Medical Officer of Health will not issue a Cold Weather Alert termination.

Emergency Control Group Update - February 10, 2021

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met Wednesday, February 10 to discuss updates in the current COVID-19 situation. The group will meet again on Wednesday next week to discuss new developments and planning requirements. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed.

Lambton County Library temporarily closes two locations for renovations

Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library is temporarily closing Alvinston Library and Corunna Library for a period of two to three weeks in order to complete scheduled renovations. Corunna Library will be closed effective Monday, January 25, 2021 and Alvinston Library will be closed effective Monday, February 1, 2021. All services, including curbside pickup, will be suspended at both libraries during this time.
