2018 Draft Budget presented to County Council

Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Councillors will consider a proposed 2.43% net increase to the County property tax levy when they meet to discuss the 2018 Draft County of Lambton budget early next month.
The draft document was presented during a special joint meeting of Lambton County Council Standing Committees in Wyoming this morning.
The draft budget calls for $75.2 million to be raised through local property taxes, supporting proposed expenditures of $213.4 million allocated to specific services...

Four years after its humble beginnings in Sarnia-Lambton, the Circles program is set to expand across southwestern Ontario.
"We have three sites in our region that are very close to launching," said program coordinator Gayle Montgomery, who is now a national recruiter for the Circles Canadian Campaign.

Toronto might be able to learn a thing or two from Sarnia-Lambton about battling poverty.
Just a month after the official launch here of the Circles poverty reduction strategy, Metro Toronto Literacy wants to implement the program in the capital city, said local co-ordinator Gayle Montgomery.
