LPH Opens COVID-19 Vaccine Registration for Children in Lambton County

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH), working in partnership with the Sarnia Lambton Ontario Health Team (SL-OHT), and local health-care providers will open registration for vaccinations to children aged 5 to 11 years old on Tuesday, November 23. This follows approval from Health Canada and recommendations from the Government of Ontario.
A variety of family friendly community clinics, school-based clinics, primary care providers and pharmacies will offer the vaccine to eligible children...

Lambton Public Health Releases Results from Two COVID-19 Surveys

Point Edward, ON – The results are in. Lambton Public Health (LPH) is excited to share the outcomes of two community surveys that were initiated with the goal of understanding the local impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, and identifying community needs.

Emergency Control Group Update – November 10, 2021

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group (CECG) met Wednesday, November 10 to discuss updates to the current COVID-19 situation.
At this meeting, the Emergency Control Group:
- Heard that 192,708 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Lambton County, as of Wednesday, November 10. That represents 83.9% of individuals aged 12+ that have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 80.8% of individuals aged 12+ that have received two doses.
