Point Edward, ON - With the hot and humid weather continuing, Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued an Extended Heat Warning for Lambton County. In high temperatures and humidity, your body may not be able to cool properly which can lead to heat exhaustion or even heat stroke.

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is reporting the first laboratory-confirmed case of monkeypox in Lambton County.
The infected individual resides in Lambton, however they most likely acquired it outside the county. The individual is currently self-isolating at home, and LPH staff have followed up with potential close contacts.
