Wyoming, ON – Lambton County Library is planning a free family party on Saturday, January 27 with a day full of activities including a concert, movie, face painting, retro gaming, a maker activity on the laser cutter and more as part of a Family Literacy Day Festival at Sarnia Library.
The festival runs from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and begins at Sarnia Library. Activities will also take place at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Extreme Cold Warning issued for Lambton County

Point Edward, ON – Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for Lambton County based on the latest forecast of temperatures as low as -18°C, with winds of 30 km/h, which will give wind chill values as cold as -30°C.
The warning is expected to remain in effect until Tuesday, Jan. 16. The Medical Officer of Health will not issue a Cold Weather Warning termination.

Wyoming, ON – Chatham-Kent and Lambton County elementary, secondary and homeschool classes are invited to participate in the second annual ‘Clash of the Classrooms’ Reading Challenge hosted in partnership with Chatham-Kent Public Library (CKPL) and Lambton County Library. Through this program, CKPL and Lambton County Library hope to strengthen students’ love of reading.
