Minister appoints Dr. Dueck as permanent Medical Officer of Health

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is announcing that Sylvia Jones, Deputy Premier of Ontario and Minister of Health, has appointed Dr. Karalyn Dueck as the permanent Medical Officer of Health (MOH) for the County of Lambton.
Dr. Dueck has been serving as the County’s Acting MOH since her appointment on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022.

Lambton Public Health searching for dog following bite incident in Sarnia

Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 20, at the Dollarama on Exmouth Street.
The dog, described as a medium-sized pitbull-terrier, black in colour with a white patch on its neck, was tied up outside of the store with a long rope. The person who was bit did not see the owner of the dog.

Sarnia, ON - On Tuesday, March 21, community partners from across Lambton County gathered at Lambton College to discuss the current state of housing, homelessness, and addictions locally, and collaborate on how to make a lasting change in these areas.
