Lambton Public Health issues reminder to catch up on routine childhood immunizations

Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) is reminding parents and guardians to ensure routine childhood immunizations are up to date.
In accordance with the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA), parents and guardians are required to report routine childhood vaccines to LPH. At this time, student suspension orders for noncompliance with ISPA have been paused for the 2022-2023 school year to provide an opportunity to catch up on missed vaccines and to allow for vaccine reporting to LPH....

Cold Weather Alert Issued for Lambton County - February 2, 2023

Point Edward, ON – Lambton County’s Acting Medical Officer of Health has issued a Cold Weather Alert for the region based on the latest forecast from Environment Canada predicting low temperatures overnight tonight, Thursday, Feb. 2 and tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 3.
The alert is expected to remain in effect until Saturday, Feb. 4. The Medical Officer of Health will not issue a Cold Weather Alert termination.
