Keep wells safe during flood conditions - January 2020

Sarnia, ON - Lambton Public Health encourages residents with private wells to test their water supply as soon as possible if their well has been flooded.
Recent high-water levels and flood conditions, caused by rain, could allow harmful bacteria to enter the drinking water supply rendering the water supply unsafe for consumption.

Sarnia, ON - When it comes to tobacco use, Lambton Public Health wants to help you write 'your quit story'.
'Start Your Quit Story' is a new campaign developed by local health units to support local smokers in their quit journey by sharing personal stories from those who have quit smoking.
"Quitting smoking is a huge challenge, and sharing quit stories with others could be the motivation someone needs to quit," said Lisa Clark, Health Promoter at Lambton Public Health.

"Even though it's the holiday season, if you're sick, stay home. No one wants what you're bringing, so don't share it with family and friends," said Dr. Erin Courtney, Health Protection Supervisor at Lambton Public Health.

- December 31, 2019 - January 1, 2020
This closure includes access to the facility, sub-offices, and all services. Access and services will resume January 2, 2020 at most locations.
