Additional Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Lambton

Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) is reporting additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lambton County. We received laboratory notification of two (2) new cases in patients who are hospitalized. These patients, in their 70s and 80s, match the age demographic of others who have been previously identified in the hospital, and the investigation into their contacts is ongoing. COVID-19 Follow-up with Close Contacts of Cases

Point Edward, ON - Lambton Public Health (LPH) continues to actively monitor this developing situation, in collaboration with national and provincial health agencies, as well as local stakeholders, including hospitals and community agencies.

Free Wi-Fi Made Available Outside Most Lambton County Libraries

Wyoming, ON - Residents without access to internet are invited to access the free wireless internet available outside of most Lambton County Library locations.

While libraries remain closed until further notice due to efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Library’s Wi-Fi extends beyond the walls of several of its buildings, providing public access in many facilities' parking lot areas. Emergency Control Group Update - March 25

Wyoming, ON - The County of Lambton Emergency Control Group met this morning to discuss updates in the current COVID-19 situation. The group is scheduled to next meet on Friday this week to discuss new developments and planning requirements. Additional meetings will be arranged if needed.
