Public Works Department hosting job fairs for seasonal positions

Wyoming, ON – The County’s Public Works Department is hosting two job fairs to fill positions for the upcoming winter season.
The Department will be hiring Winter Patrollers, Operators, and Winter Control Plow Operators. Applications for these positions are currently available through the County’s online job board.

Mosquitoes test positive for West Nile Virus - September 5, 2023

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health’s surveillance program has confirmed mosquitoes collected on Wednesday, Aug. 30, from a trap located in Forest, have tested positive for West Nile Virus.
This is the fourth instance of mosquitoes testing positive for West Nile Virus in Lambton County this year. No positive human cases of West Nile have been confirmed to date in the County.
